Consultant Role at the University of Central Florida (UCF)
The Consultant role is a professional position designed to provide strategic advice and solutions to the university and its partners. The role focuses on identifying opportunities for growth, improving organizational efficiency, and enhancing operational effectiveness across various departments, programs, and initiatives. This position requires a strong background in consulting, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with key stakeholders to implement tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Advising: Provide expert guidance on strategic decisions, ensuring alignment with UCF's long-term goals and objectives.
Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, offering ongoing support and insights.
Process Improvement: Assess current processes and systems, identifying areas for optimization and implementing innovative solutions to drive efficiency.
Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market and industry research to inform recommendations, staying up to date with trends and best practices.
Tailored Solutions: Work closely with departments to develop and implement strategies, solutions, and operational improvements that meet their unique needs.
Project Management: Lead and manage consulting projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations.
Reporting & Presentations: Create and deliver clear, actionable reports and presentations to university leadership and other key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in consulting, with a focus on strategic management, operations, or organizational development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Experience in higher education or a similar sector is a plus.
Project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
