Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our growing team in the Internet and Software industry. In this full-time, on-site role, you will work closely with the Store Manager to oversee daily retail operations, drive sales performance, and deliver an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced tech-forward environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven leader who is passionate about technology and building high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in overseeing all daily store operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales and support associates to meet and exceed performance goals
- Deliver outstanding customer service by resolving escalated issues and ensuring a seamless in-store experience
- Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training new team members on products, software solutions, and customer engagement strategies
- Monitor inventory levels, manage stock replenishment, and coordinate with vendors as needed
- Analyze sales data and key performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
- Ensure the store environment is visually appealing, organized, and aligned with brand guidelines
- Step in to manage store operations in the absence of the Store Manager
- Stay up to date with the latest software products, industry trends, and competitor offerings
Requirements
- 2+ years of retail management or supervisory experience, preferably within a technology or software retail environment
- Strong understanding of internet services, software products, or consumer electronics
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a diverse team in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze sales reports and translate data into actionable strategies
- Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail management software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field is a plus
